I think our group's planning process went pretty well. We all had a same objective & goal, which was not to let the egg break, and earn that 5 extra points to our exam!
When we first knew that we only have one egg, 10 ft of tape, and 8 straws to help us out, we figured that we need to come up with a plan that can protect our egg with limit of resources. So, everyone in our group started to brainstorm about what would be the best plan for us. We came up with many ideas, and discussed which would be the best. We first decided to cut the straws into small pieces, and taped it on the egg, so maybe we can bounce the egg. However, at the end, we figured that it would be really hard for us, because we only have 10 minutes to finish it, and there was a great chance that we wouldn't get the scissor. Therefore, we changed our plan, and choose to use straws to make a protection box for the egg. In this way, we would not have to cut the straws, and it would be easier for us to finish it on time.
As the result, our egg did not break! We followed all 5 steps in planning process, that why we succeed at the end. ;)

Great job! My group was plan to make a protection box for the egg too, but we did not use that idea, because we were worry that the protection box will cover most of the part of the egg and can not see 50% of the egg. If my group uses the same idea, we probably will achieve the goal and earn those 5 points for our next exam. But anyway, the activity was over and everyone in the class has fun on that day, so maybe the 5 points is not that important. The important thing is that we learned the planning process and hope we can use this process in our future career and for our future benefits. Once again, congratulation for the achievement.
awesome our groups egg did not break either! We were also going to create some sort of protection box for the egg, however our team decided to create some sort of a fishing rod with the limited amount of time we had. Well congrats to your success!
WOw thats really good how you guys changed to straegy in the middle of the process and still managed to not crack your egg. You guys are very lucky unlike us. Ours splattered all over in the garbage can. You guys also did good in the planning process. Good job guys.
Congrats on successfully completing the task with limited resources and time. This exercise also challenged people's ability to work under pressure. Our group was also successful with the task.
I liked working together as well! Yes, I think that it was very beneficial for us to have had a back up plan. Although we had several ideas, the one we executed was the most feasible. It was a fun class and good learning experience. We all inputed our ideas well and got our extra credit!
