Time Management

I have been really busy this semester, so time management is my biggest problem right now. Beside being the President of TSA, I am also helping World Vision to translate letters from English to Chinese. In addition, I just started my marketing internship again.

These busy works make me have to sit in front of my laptop whenever I get home until it's time for me to go sleep. Also, when there is a TSA event coming up, I would have to contact all the officers for the details of the event, which usually take more than an hour, so it makes it really hard for me to have personal time.

In order to help myself out a little, I think I will use my break time more wisely. I will start using my break time to do school works and internship things, and hopefully, I can finish most of the works during my break!

Thank you for the compliment. I really agree with you about the time management problem because this problem also bothers me. I believe many of us have the time management problem, but there are different situations, such as too much works has to be done or wasting time in something that in inappropriate. I think you are the one who has a lot of works waiting for you to finish. I believe you can finish all the work if you can follow what you plan to do because we work in TSA together and you are a pretty good president and organize everything so nicely. So I believe you can overcome this problem in the future.

Sounds like a familiar problem. You seem to have a lot on your plate. I have been working full time and classes throughout college and don't know any other way during the semester.

Take time to enjoy yourself. Yes, studying, classes, work and traveling all over Manhattan is quite a challenge but set some time aside for yourself to really just lay back and kick up your feet. It really helps!

Hi Rebecca!
I agree with you. Using our breaks more efficiently is a great idea. Most of the time I just end up sitting around during my breaks doing nothing. Why not spend that little bit of time working?! Thanks so much for the great tip! =) Hopefully we can both succeed in managing our schedules this semester!

Hi,
I see that we have a similar problem.
One advice that I could give you is to get a piece of paper and put down what you need accomplished weekly( how many hours of attending school, how many hours for studying, working in your internship, preparing for your club meeting and events...)
Next step would be to prioritize what is most important for you- good GPA, internship, friends, TSA club ... After you do that try to plan you days in such way so you do the things that are of highest priority first and soon you will see if you can make it all happen.
Good Luck
